The controversial singer was flashing plenty of leg as she hitched up her sugar pink wedding dress during the L.A. shoot.

The only blight on her big day was when one of her handlers stepped on her dress, causing her to trip.

But Katy soon regained her composure, and happily waved to fans.

This week's Billboard Hot 100 list has been released and we have good and bad news. Starting with the bad, "I Kissed A Girl" falled from #4 to #10 this week but the good part is that "Hot N Cold" climbed from #47 to #20 and that is amazing!! So Katy already has at least 2 US Top 20 hits! Let's all help on the promotion of the new single by buying it and telling everyone to do it too!

It looks like it's from the set of her "Hot N Cold" video and we can see Katy at the end of it getting dressed up for the shoot and we can read on the description of the video: "Katy has made me her maid of honer...". I'm sure this video will be very funny so let's just wait and see!

"I Kissed a Girl" spent seven weeks atop Billboard's Hot 100 list (dethroned, finally, by queen of the summer single, Rihanna), making her a certified pop star and a contender for both Best New Artist and Best Female Video at this Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards. U.S. pop star Katy Perry has hit back at reports she considered cancelling her performance at the forthcoming MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) after network bosses refused to book her as the opening act.

The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker has been nominated for multiple awards at the event on Sunday (07Sep08) after the racy tune propelled her to stardom.

But according to the New York Post, she was heard "complaining that she wasn't asked to open at the VMAs because her song is too provocative".

A spokesperson for the singer has hit back at the reports, adding Perry was "overheard incorrectly" and will be performing at the show, though not as its opening act.

Pop sensation Katy Perry has dismissed criticism from gay rights campaigners objecting to the lyrics of her song "Ur So Gay", insisting it is just a playful take on the word.

The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker has come under fire from members of the gay community for the track, which features on her debut album One of the Boys.
